This year 2022 – 2023 we have two Reception classes – Bumblebee and Ladybird.
Bumblebee Class Teacher – Miss Jeffries

Hello, my name is Miss Jeffries. I am delighted to have the pleasure of teaching Bumblebee Class this year, this will be my fourth year teaching at Selsdon Primary. Outside of teaching, I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends; going on holidays and doing lots of fun, new activities. I am really looking forward to teaching Bumblebee’s this year and having lots of fun while learning lots of new things.
Bumblebee Class Teaching Assistant – Mrs Gonyou

I am Mrs Gonyou! I have worked at Selsdon since 2013. I have been a one to one support for a child with additional needs and I have been a teaching assistant for seven years. I have three children, who all attended Selsdon primary, my youngest just starting year 8. I enjoy taking my dog for long walks, visiting new places and spending time with my friends and family. I am really looking forward to all of the fun learning we are going to be doing this year and getting to know you all.
Bumblebee Class Teaching Assistant – Mrs Wallace

I am Mrs Wallace and I have been a teaching assistant for two years and I am really enjoying it. I have four children, all grown up now. I can’t wait to meet all of the new children and looking forward to all of the fun and learning we will do this year.
Ladybird Class Teacher – Miss White

Hello, I’m Miss White. I have been working at Selsdon for around 12 years and I even came here when I was a little girl, many many years ago. I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Going on holiday and doing lots of fun things. I am really looking forward to teaching Ladybird Class this year and I can’t wait to get to know you all, help you to learn lots and lots of new and exciting things and most of all have lots of fun.
Ladybird Class Teaching Assistant – Mrs Peyton

Hello my name is Mrs Peyton, I have worked at Selsdon Primary for over four years. I have three children that have all attended Selsdon Primary, one of which I’m still lucky to have part of our school. I really enjoy spending time with my family and finding new places to explore with them. An interesting fact about my family is that my husband use to come to this school when he was a little boy! I am very excited to be a part of the Reception team this year and looking forward to supporting you all and helping you grow.
